Communications Officer (part-time)
Location: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
freedomhouse.kg promotes the spread of freedom and democracy around the world through research, advocacy, and programs that support frontline activists. Position Summary:
The Communications Officer will be responsible for managing communication efforts of the ongoing activities and projects of freedomhouse.kg in Kyrgyzstan, including its web site freedomhouse.kg, Twitter and Facebook accounts, and engagement with local media through scheduling interviews, drafting/disseminating press releases, blog posts, public statements, and planning public events to build a support for human rights. This part-time position is based in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and reports to the Project Director.
