Position Summary
The Office Manager will provide general administrative support to freedomhouse.kg’s office in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. She/he will provide financial and administrative support for the accomplishment of program objectives. This position is full-time, based in Bishkek and will report to the Project Director.
Minimum Qualifications
- Kyrgyz citizenship
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience performing administrative tasks in an office environment
- Knowledge of USAID policies and regulations
- Mastery with MS Office specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet all goals and deadlines
- Strong ability to plan, organize, prioritize work and multitask to meet tight deadlines
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in English, Russian, both verbally and in writing with strong Kyrgyz language skills is required
- Familiarity with Kyrgyzstan accounting requirements for an NGO is helpful
Some Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides basic administrative duties to support office and programmatic activities
- Purchases goods and services
- Maintains office inventory and supplies
- Records and files project expenses
- Arranges logistics for program activities and planning of events
- Liaises with local accounting service provider
- Provide English translations for all key administrative documents
- Assist with verbal translations
- Provide other administrative support as required
